Which codec pack do you recommend for playback of media files within My Movies for Windows Media Center.
Answer:
Due to stability of your Windows Media Center PC, we recommend that you not install codec packs. The codec packs often contains codecs that in dept changes the functionality of playback, which can lead to different playback problems. At the same time, having installed a codec pack, it is impossible for you to locate any problem that you might have, as the codec packs contains hundred of codecs you cannot possible test individually.
By installing specifically the codecs you require one-by-one, it is also easier for you to see what causes it if playback breaks, and locate a codec that is the reason for this.
