I can no longer locate my purchased My Movies for iPhone or My Movies for iPad version 1 in the App Store. How can I re-install it on my device, or install it on a new device?
Answer:
In December 2014, the first version of the My Movies for iPhone and My Movies for iPad applications was replaced by a new and significantly improved version 2 under the name "My Movies Pro - Movie & TV Collection Library", which is a paid-for upgrade, and the first version of the application is now no longer available for purchase on the App Store.
Users who do not wish to upgrade to the new application can re-install the first version by opening the App Store on their device, click on the "Updates" tabbar icon, and then click the "Purchased" link in the top, to access their list of purchased applications. In here, your purchase of My Movies for iPhone or My Movies for iPad will be listed - the applications will be listed by purchase date, and due to this, if you have many purchased applications, it can be a little difficult to locate.
You can from this list re-install the application as any other application in the App Store.
Notice! As of June 1'st 2015, Apple does no longer allow for X86 based applications to be updated in the App Store. This means that while we continue to provide support for version 1 of the application, we can no longer upgrade the application, even if critical errors occurs on new iOS versions. It is highly recommended to upgrade to the new version of the application, which also provides many new significant features.
